Vizo Xena
Notebook coolers are now an essential accessory if you own a laptop. Not only they keep laptops nice and cool, manufacturers also have added several features to them to make them more useful. Tonight we'll take a look at Vizo's Xena Notebook cooler. We would like to thank the Vizo team for making this review possible.
If you own a laptop, a notebook cooler is a must have nowadays. Vizo has a very good line up of notebook coolers that cater to a wide variety of users. Our sample came in on a retail box and comes complete with manuals and accessories. Let's take a further look at the Xena. Below is a list of features of Vizo's Xena notebook cooler:

One feature that stood out for us is the integrated 2.5" SATA enclosure the unit comes with. This is the first time we've seen a hard drive enclosure incorporated with a notebook cooler. Vizo also sported three USB ports as well as a one touch back up button for the installed hard disk. The Xena is made up mostly of aluminum housing to ensure proper heat dissipation. Two fans also are mounted under the tray to circulate the hot air from the laptop. The Xena can be used with a variety of laptops ranging in size from eight to fifteen inches.

Using the Xena for a couple of days made it feel like it was an extension of our laptop. The fans were relatively quiet throughout our usage and the SATA hard disk enclosure was just a great added option. With a great line-up of laptop coolers coming from Vizo, this is one of the best we've used so far. Not only the Vizo Xena performed very well cooling down our laptop, but it's also the first to add a removable 2.5" bay for back up purposes and which makes the Xena a unique product. For the score we give the Vizo Xena a score of 9 out of 10 and our Unique Rigs recommendation.
