Hardware Review
Sigma Unicorn Case
We can't be happier when we get a computer case for review here at Unique Rigs. Over the past three some odd years we've been online, we've seen a variety of cases from different manufacturers. We took look at Sigma's Unicorn case just a few days ago and here's what we thought. We would like to thank the Sigma team for making this review possible for us.

Let's take a further look at the Unicorn case. The Unicorn case is a mid tower offering from Sigma. The outer structure of the case is designed very well. The front panel door is very well crafted too. The front panel consists of an intake fan as well as the front ports. We would've like to have seen more ports on the front panel, but the audio and USB ports should cover the essentials. The door panel opens to the right very easily and just on top of the case, you will see the power and reset buttons. The side panels use a latch type mechanism to open the case so you won't have to use screws to secure the panels.

The interior of the case is very clean. The drive bays uses tool less rails to secure both your 5.25" and 3.5" drives. The Unicorn case can hold up to four 5.25" drives and seven 3.25" drives. You will also notice a black metal enforce bar once you open up the case. This basically helps support your video card in place. An 80mm cooling fan is also attached on this enforce bar to help cool down your video card. You will also notice a 120mm fan on the rear of the case. Sigma also included a 500w PSU on the case which is an added bonus. The motherboard connectors are also very well labeled making it easy and locate to your motherboard. The feature I love about this case is the removable motherboard tray. I find that having a removable motherboard tray allows for easier access to the motherboard when it comes to changing motherboards or other parts such as coolers and CPUs.

Overall, we were really pleased with the Unicorn's designs and features. The paint finish on the outer panels is also very well done and won't scratch easily. There are several good features on the case, but the feature we mostly liked was its removal motherboard tray. The enforce bar is also a welcomed feature and the tool less drive rails are very well integrated with the case. Though we would've liked the case to have more front panel ports, it's still a very solid PC case. We give the Unicorn case a score of 9 out 10 and our Unique Rigs recommendation.
Pros:
Removable motherboard tray
Clean design on both inside and outside
Screwless locking system for the drive bays
Very good paint finish
PSU included
Latch type locks for the side panels
Cons:
Only USB and audio ports on front panel
