Our case sample came in a well packaged Thermaltake package. After unpacking the cover and styrofoam support, we were greeted to sleek looking mid tower. The front panel is made of metal mesh with the front ports just located on top. This also serves as a are filter if you wish to add more 120mm fans on the front. You also have the option to re-position the fan and IDE drives as you see fit. The sample we got was the none window version, but it still very stylish looking. The side panel has exhaust holes to vent air into the interior of the case. The outer shell of the case was painted ina nice black finish.

Let's take a look at the interior of the case. Though a mid tower, the interior is very roomy. The one thing we noticed and loved was the rail holders for the IDE drives. This makes installations of all your IDE drives installations simple and tool less. The hard drive cage also is removable, to make securing easier for your hard drives. The PCI/AGP clips also secures your card inside. We would've liked to have seen a removable motherboard tray on the interior. For cooling, the M9 comes with two 120mm fans one of which is an LED fan on the front. The front panel cables are nicely sleeved
