Our sample came in a very well packaged Silverstone box. The sample we received was the Black coloured unit. Just looking at the exterior of the case, we already can tell that the LC10-E is a well built case. Its front panel case is made of Aluminum and its body is made of .8mm steel. Looking at the front, you'll see the front port panels. Which includes two USB ports, FireWire as well as your audio ports. Pretty standard. You will also notice the single optical drive bay which will house your CD/DVD for your Media Centre. If you take a look at the side, you will see the vent ports of the case. The case's exterior is very nicely designed, sleek and very clean.

Let's take a look a the case's interiors. The top panels opens to the case's interiors. The interiors of the LC10-E is very roomy, may be as much as a standard ATX case. You will be able to place one 5.25” drive bay and seven internal 3.5” drives inside the case. Being an HTPC case, the LC10-E can accommodate any ATX and Micro ATX motherboards of your choice. The LC10-E also sports two 80mm exhaust fans located just at the back. You will also be able to attach a standard PSU. The two side vents can also take 80mm fans so you can place additional cooling for the case. The interiors are very sturdy and space inside is so great to work with. Although we would've like to have seen a tool less installation for the internal drives implemented, making installation a bit more easier.
The Silverstone LC10-E is a very a well engineered HTPC case. If you're looking on getting a simple Media Centre, give this one a look. Not only the design is sleek and clean, its aesthetic will match on any home theatre. The quality exterior and well built interiors makes the LC10-E a very good choice for a Media Centre case. Taking to account everything, we were very pleased with Silverstone's LC10-E. So we gave it a score of 9 out of 10 with our recommendation.
