Whatever size you choose, there a plethora of gaming chassis available in the market. Our sample came in a very nice packaged Thermaltake box. The case itself was covered in a nice bag made of a cloth material. Externally, the Element G looks very sleek. The overall paint finish is nicely done and the red accent color on the side panel jives really well with the case design. The front panel is made up of a black mesh, allowing cooler air to easily come in to the case's interior. Looking at the front panel controls, the Element G has four USB ports, audio ports. The controls are located just on the top of the case where the power and reset button also resides. You will also notice the fan controller located just to the left of the power button. This fan speed controller also act as the button to switch the LED lights for the LED fan. We'll take a look at this in a little bit when we get to the case's interior. The Element G's side panel also use a massive 230 mm side intake fan. The benefit of using a bigger size fan is it doesn't need to spin very fast to draw in a lot of air. Therefore it doesn't create a lot of noise during normal operation, compared to a smaller type fan that requires to spin faster to move more air, which in turn creates more noise. At the top of the case, the Element G also has another 200 mm exhaust fan which draws hot air out directly from the CPU. The Element G's exterior are very nicely designed, simple but very sleek.

The Element G's interior has a ton of options. The first thing we noticed was the seven 3.5" drive bays available inside, perfect for your multi raid configurations. The tool less drive rails also is well implemented with the case. We also noticed something very unique. The metal panel just above the PSU chamber actually can house two 2.5" hard disk drive. With that, you will not need a 2.5" to 3.5" conversion kit if later you decide to get some 2.5" sized hard drives. The case itself can handle a Micro ATX case as well as an ATX motherboard. The space where the motherboard sits at is actually very roomy. Where optical drives is concern, the Element G can support up to three 5.25" drives. As we mentioned on the previous paragraph, the LED fans on the Element G actually lights up three different color variety. It lights up in red, green, blue and it even lights the three color all at the same time via the fan control knob by just pressing it. Thermaltake also added another mm exhaust fan on the rear, however this fan isn't an LED fan. The PSU chamber is located just at the bottom of the case, which we seeing a lot more now. The black finish on the interior jives very well with the case's overall design. We would like to have seen a removable motherboard tray, this would've added an added value to the case.

Overall, the Element G is a very well designed case. Nice exterior and interior, this case will surely get your PC noticed. The mesh front panel and the quad color LED fans on the lights make the Thermaltake Element G stand out. With the massive interior fans, it surely will keep your hardware components nice and cool. Noise will also be at a minimum as the adjustable fan controller will help you set the speed for the fan, wether you need less or more air cooling.
