Changing Your PSP Faceplate

Changing your PSP faceplate is very simple mod. The first step is to take out the back screws of the PSP. 4 screws are located at the battery compartment. Make sure to take to peel the sticker to reveal hidden screw.

Next screws are located near the "L" button and at the buttom near the headphone jack. The final screw you have to take out is right underneathe your PSP, just beneath the volume buttons.

After you've take out the screws, it's time to take out the stock faceplate. You can see all the rubber contacts for the d-pad and other buttons. Next you have to take out the analog button from the stock faceplate and place it on your new faceplate.

Now, just place all the buttons to your new faceplate and make sure they are all secure. Finally align the new faceplate to your PSP unit and place all the screws you've previously taken out. And voila! You've made a simple mod on your PSP.
